Job Description
Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer
Job Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Develop modify and maintain applications using PowerBuilder (Version Specify).
- Design and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and triggers for databases such as Oracle SQL Server or Sybase.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing PowerBuilder applications.
- Work with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure performance tuning security and scalability of PowerBuilder applications.
- Migrate and modernize legacy applications as needed.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate PowerBuilder applications with other systems.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide support for users and stakeholders.
- Experience in PowerBuilder development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases (Oracle SQL Server Sybase etc.).
- Experience with stored procedures triggers functions and database optimization.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
- Knowledge of migration strategies from legacy PowerBuilder applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
