Founded in 1964 Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL) a listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange is running the worlds largest ocean shipping fleet. MOL operates bulk carriers container ships cruise ships ferries and coastal liners tankers that transport crude oil oil products or liquid chemical and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) etc.
MOL LNG Transport (ASIA) PTE. LTD. is MOLs wholly owned subsidiary company and specialized in ship management of LNG carriers. Although MOL has already have several ship management companies specialized in LNG carriers where MOL wholly or partially owns all over the world MOL had founded this company additionally in Singapore on June 2022 in order to cope with expanding fleet size of LNG carriers owned by MOL. As the solid status as environmentally friendly fuel LNG s future is promising. MOL has expanded the LNG fleet to 100 to meet increasing transportation demand. And the expansion of this LNG carrier business is the main engine for the growth strategy of entire MOL Group. This new company is expected to contribute to this Groups strategy.

HSE Manager (Shipmanagement (HSE Quality Management division)
Job Description:
- Setup and implement the company s Objectives for the division as assigned.
- Implement safety and technical standard (Standard of Health Safety Security and environment).
- Maintain and improve the Safety Management System.
- Manage third party audit (TMSA SIRE Charterers Audit) as assigned.
- Conduct audits and inspections for fleet/ships assigned including Drydock safety review and prepare report as per Internal/ External Audit Inspection and Visit Matrix.
- Monitor regulations / rules / guidance from Flag / Class / Industry bodies and amend the SMS as required.
- Manage all SMS documents and certificates.
- In case of any deficiency found take appropriate corrective actions in cooperation with FM and SI.
- Assist with transfer of existing / New Deliveries of vessels into managed fleet carry out the tasks for takeover the vessel as assigned and liaise with FM and SI for safe and timely execution.
- Vessel visits at stipulated intervals and submission of visit reports.
- Carrying out SMS / QMS / EMS education and training or appoint trainers for it and evaluate the education / training provided.
- Carrying out Safety Campaigns for the fleet.
- Support FM & SI to improve safety performance for fleet/vessels as assigned based on HSSE Objectives and targets.
- Investigate incidents and accidents including root cause analysis and preventive measures as assigned.
- Plan emergency response drills and report the process and outcome.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in Ship Manager position is required.
- Experience as Chief Office or 1st Engineer and above on Ocean going LNG vessels
- Knowledge of TMSA / ISO / ISM Audit / SIRE inspection.
- Proficient knowledge of international Maritime rules and regulations and industry guidelines like ISM Code MLC STCW and MARPOL.
- Knowledge of marine operations for the vessel types managed cargo containment / propulsion plant systems on managed vessel.
- Has an understanding of the company software systems.
- Effective communication skills especially in English.
