This includes following policy and procedures; maintaining safe staffing levels; supplies and equipment at sufficient levels; and efficient patient throughput. Develops implements and manages the department budget. Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement invests in lifelong learning for staff professional development and assures employees complete required annual competencies. Maintains own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure. Communicates important information to the CNO and other Administrative Team members as needed.As such the responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities: Staff development evidencebased clinical practice; personnel resource/productivity management; fiscal management; patient quality safety and performance improvement; and regulatory compliance.The Emergency Department consists of 14 rooms with a current renovation underway to expand to 20 rooms; with an estimated completion of December 2025.Who We Are:The facility is a 137bed acute care hospital with over 100 physicians and over 500 employees.
