Job Description
Develops implements and maintains policies and procedures for Maintenance storeroom site facilities management and outside contractor services. Manages a staff of contract employees to perform all necessary functions of the Warehouse. Manages outside contractor maintenance of buildings and grounds. Ensures proper certification and onboarding of nonresident contractors working in the plant.
Duties:
- Develop and implement effective procedures and controls for Storeroom physical inventory reservations quality control obsolescence s tools shipping and receiving material capital spares list safety equipment respiratory PM consignment inventory material distribution and mail delivery.
- Manage the most economical dollar value of Storeroom inventory required to support efficient plant maintenance.
- Analyze and develop a maintenance budget for Storeroom and General Facilities.
- Define and initiate computer applications for enhancement of inventory control and replenishment and outside contractor performance and safety compliance.
- Maintain all site facilities within the general property budget (grounds maintenance weed control janitorial services pest control laydown/surplus equipment yard building maintenance road and railroad maintenance).
Qualifications :
- Minimum 10 years industrial material and/or maintenance work management experience.
- Experience with SAP (CMMS) and solid knowledge of inventory practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience to provide general supervision of Storeroom employees and management of plant facilities and outside services.
- Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks and implement policies and procedures to enhance all areas of responsibility.
