Job Description

Senior Director of Sales Enterprise Sales

Location: US (Remote)
Reports To: VP of Enterprise Sales

Job Summary:

Hitachi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Sales to part of our Enterprise Sales Organization. This leader will oversee a team of Account Executives that sell all solution areas within the Microsoft portfolio.  The Account Executive roles are responsible for both new sales and existing account management.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise sales leadership coupled with a strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and experience driving growth in diverse industries. This role demands strategic leadership customer focus and the ability to foster collaboration within Microsofts ecosystem to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Microsoft Solutions across North America aligned with Hitachis growth objectives and Microsofts customer base.
    • Lead a highperforming sales team of Account Executives and drive partnership within Hitachi Solutions Industry and Specialist Sales Teams.
    • Strengthen relationships with Microsoft field teams and partner ecosystem to enhance alignment and business growth.
  2. Revenue Growth:
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities within Microsofts North America customer base.
    • Establish and achieve ambitious sales goals ensuring alignment with both Hitachis and Microsofts objectives.
  3. Team Development:
    • Recruit mentor and retain top sales talent.
    • Foster a collaborative customerfocused and resultsdriven team culture.
    • Provide ongoing coaching to ensure individual and team performance meets or exceeds expectations.
  4. Microsoft Ecosystem Expertise:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of all Microsoft solution areas including Business Applications (CRM & ERP) Data and Analytics Data Science AI/ML and Modern Solutions. Actively engage with Microsoft teams at all levels to align strategies and leverage opportunities within their customer base.
  5. CustomerCentric Approach:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with North American customers acting as a trusted advisor in their digital transformation journeys.
    • Champion customer success by delivering tailored valuedriven Microsoft solutions.
  6. Industry Expertise:
    • Leverage insights in specific industries to drive solutions that address customerspecific challenges. Specifically for this role a focus on Manufacturing Consumer Goods & Retail is desired.
  7. Global Awareness:
    • While focused on North America maintain awareness of global business practices to ensure strategic alignment with broader organizational objectives

Qualifications :

  • Postsecondary degree/diploma in Business Computer Science or a related discipline or work experience equivalent. 5 plus years experience in leading a sales team.
  • Strong and established Microsoft customer facing team relationships a plus strong written and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and to work with a team.


Additional Information :

Base Salary Pay Range*:  $170000 to $200000

*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills relevant to the role internal equity alignment with market data or other law.
