Process Technician Medical Devices
Salt Lake City UT

Position Summary:
As a Process Technician you will ensure the production of highquality medical devices by optimizing manufacturing processes and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your role directly impacts the success of treatments for lifethreatening cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Support: Operate and maintain production equipment used in catheter assembly such as extrusion machines laser welders and braiding equipment.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Quality Assurance: Perform inprocess inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production parameters deviations and maintenance activities per FDA GMP and ISO 13485 standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work with engineering operations and quality teams to validate new processes or changes in design.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience: Experience in a medical device or similar regulated manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with manufacturing tools and techniques
- ProblemSolving: Ability to identify root causes of process deviations and propose actionable solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Proven track record of producing precise components with tight tolerances.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Postsecondary technical training is a plus.
