Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Manufacturing Buyer to join our team. In this role you will play a critical part in negotiating with suppliers managing inventory and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and materials to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate suppliers for quality timeliness and alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor the flow of material supplies and identify potential shortages or bottlenecks.
  • Resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies or shortages.
  • Analyze market trends to forecast potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Address supplierrelated concerns including quality and ontime delivery performance.
  • Manage procurement deadlines to meet project expectations.
  • Obtain quotes negotiate pricing and place orders for materials and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment with project needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts quotes and performance metrics.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
