Job Description
As a Senior Repair Manager you are given considerable responsibility and authority to make decisions that directly impact the success of the branch. You will demonstrate good judgment honesty and integrity everyday while overseeing your team and working with vendors. What you will do:
- You oversee and monitor subordinates as well as vendors to ensure that the fleet is maintained in accordance with established standards within acceptable timeframes and in a costefficient manner
- You ensure that policies and best practices are properly followed
- You oversee all infleeting activities including timely new vehicle acceptance PDI installation of tags and other proprietary items making vehicle ready to rent
- You oversee all defleeting activities including timely inspection reconditioning plate removal and movement of program and sale vehicles to marshalling centers or auctions
- You oversee all estimate writing quality checks for repair work performed turnback inspections at marshalling centers
- You select Vendors planning directing and monitoring preventive maintenance body repair warranty and other repair work for all company rental vehicles and customer service buses
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Education & Experience You have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience performing administrative tasks in an office environment automotive dealership vehicle registration or car rental industry experience preferred
- Computer Skills You possess basic computer navigation skills and are familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Organizational Skills You are highly organized capable of managing fleet inventory repair schedules work orders and documentation ensuring efficient and smooth fleet operations across all tasks
- Licenses & Authorization You are at least 18 years old hold a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and are authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
- Work Hours & Travel You can work 40 hours per week including day or evening shifts and are open to travel (510%) some of which may be by airplane
- Uniform & Language You are willing to wear a company uniform and speaking other languages is a plus
