Job Description
Location: Guadalajara (Hybrid once a week)
Fulltime
3 years of handson Java development experience
Strong expertise in objectoriented programming languages preferably Java
Strong expertise in SQL or other similar querying languages
Ability to explaining complex problems clearly and succinctly
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Passion to collaborate and iterate on ideas on a crossfunctional team
As a member of the Maps Evaluation team with a focus on service evaluation you will be involved in evaluating the full life cycle of test authoring from the generation of test
Collaborating crossfunctionally with Maps test engineers and other Engineering teams
Authoring queries to extract relevant test data for existing or new tests
Authoring automated tests to ensure the logic mentioned above is correctly implemented and does not regress during development iterations
Integrating such test suites into a continuously releasing and signing off workflow
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience will be considered
While the following experiences are not vital one or more of these would be helpful in this role:
HOCON & Python development experience
Mapping applications and technologies
Developing and/or deploying CI/CD pipeline experience
