Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead value optimization initiatives for battery systems and related electrical and electronic components ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality and performance.
- Collaborate with design manufacturing and procurement teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction process improvements and material optimization.
- Manage battery system projects from concept to production ensuring adherence to schedules budgets and quality standards.
- Conduct market and competitor benchmarking to identify innovative solutions and maintain competitiveness.
- Oversee supplier interactions including technical reviews cost negotiations and performance assessments.
- Develop and monitor project plans ensuring alignment with company goals and timely delivery of milestones.
- Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement ensuring compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges and bottlenecks.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders including reporting project status risks and opportunities.
- Support product launches and ensure seamless integration of battery systems into vehicle platforms.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in battery system engineering or a related role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components used in battery systems.
- Experience in value engineering cost analysis and optimization.
- Proven project management skills including planning execution and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD CATIA or similar software for battery and component design.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations related to battery systems and electronics.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive resultsdriven attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
- Fluency in English is required.
