Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Designer with a strong fashion sensibility & vision and a commercial eye for Womenswear within our Edition & Campaign collections!

You will be part of a fastpaced environment and work with youthful elevated fashion products that welcome everyone! Our target customers are fashionaspirer women who aspire to the latest in fashion from current essentials to fashion must haves. You will be part of a fast moving dynamic environment and adaptable to change.

As a Junior Designer you will be responsible for assisting in creating the most current & updated assortment relevant for our customer. This involves a curiosity and understanding of the customer together with insight of upcoming new trends and key products. You are a part of creating the best products with incredible attention to detail and ensuring the collection is fashion forward with key products & trends that speak to our target customer.

You will be assisting our Product Designers working together with our wider team including Product Manager Pattern Maker Print Designer Planner Buyer Product Developer and Business Controller. The role involves but is not limited to flat sketching updating collection overviews etc and working with technical packs assisting on the concepts.  You will be involved in developing collections sold globally in all H&M markets. We have high ambitions and a great team spirit.  As a team we are a forward thinking innovative and energetic!

As a person you will also need to be adaptable and able to juggle different tasks across the Edition & Campaign collections. Able to bring your perspectives when it comes to influences/trends. This is an exciting role for an ambitious creative designer who is looking to develop with a key fashion awareness!


Qualifications :

In addition to above we are looking for:

  • A BA degree in Textile/Fashion Design
  • A minimum of 1 years work experience as a JR Designer
  • Passion and understanding of our H&M Womens customer
  • Strong skills in Adobe Suite programs
  • Experience in 3D CLO is meriting
  • Attention to detail and good knowledge of either jersey or wovens
  • A creative and visionary mindset for fashion both current and future trends
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility
  • Able to prioritise with an organized & structured approach
  • You thrive working in diverse teams where we are all different and you contribute with your perspective
  • Like a fastpaced and everchanging work environment
  • A very strong self drive and can take own initiatives
  • English fluency (Swedish is not necessary)
