Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of an industrial warehouse for the manufacturing industry. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for all project phases from planning to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction process and coordinate with various subcontractors and suppliers involved in the project.
  • Ensure budget control project schedule and compliance with specifications and quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Validate the feasibility of construction requirements based on the project scope.
  • Work closely with the client and suppliers to ensure all parties are coordinated and supervised throughout the project.
  • Oversee project progress and report to the client until completion.
  • Participate in meetings with the client suppliers and contractors to reconcile define and establish the pending project scope.
  • Supervise existing or newly generated project information review and report to the client any inconsistent missing or contradictory information.
  • Complement integrate or detail as needed a detailed project schedule including project milestones.
  • Validate project specifications to ensure that all involved parties understand the client’s requirements.
  • Direct and supervise the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure that the project is completed on time within budget and according to quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project including design procurement construction and commissioning.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that may arise during the project.
  • Manage all necessary permits and approvals.
  • Guarantee compliance with all safety health and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the project closure process and ensure the completion of all required documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as the primary responsible party for industrial projects.
  • Experience in the construction of industrial warehouses.
  • Fluent English.
  • Extensive experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes industry standards and regulations.
  • Broad understanding of budgeting and financial management.
  • Extensive experience in project scheduling and resource management.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety health and environmental regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Construction Management or related fields.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP LEED etc. are desirable.
  • Strong technology skills.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Project.
  • Extensive experience using AutoCAD.
  • Broad understanding of legal and contractual matters related to construction projects.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Location:

Monterrey Metropolitan Area (100% onsite).
