JOB OVERVIEW
Job Title: Physician Obstetrics/Gynecology (OBGYN)
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Salem OR
Service Setting: Hospital
Coverage Type: 24Hour On Call
Coverage Period: 03/31/2025 3 months (ongoing)
Clinical Shift Schedule: 56 shifts per month 24hour shifts preferred. If unavailable 12hour night shifts (7p7a) considered.
OnCall Shift Schedule: 24hour coverage
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Neonates Infants Pediatrics Adolescents Adults
Patient Volume/Census: 35 patients daily Approximately 3040 deliveries per month for this OB group. Another 3040 per month for the midwifery group.
Case Mix: Emergent GYN procedures Csections highrisk births
FACILITY INFORMATION
EMR System: Epic
Specialty Backup Available: Midwives 24hour inhouse Anesthesiologist
Reason for Coverage: Urgent need for additional provider support
Level 3 NICU
Level 3 NICU
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: May qualify with a clean file
Credentialing Timeline: 6090 days
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Rate: TBD
Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (Local candidates preferred)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active OR State License required (Nonlicensed candidates may be considered if licensure is in process)
Board Certification: Required
Certifications: NRP ACLS BLS
DEA: Required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide oncall obstetric and gynecologic care including emergent procedures
Perform Csections and highrisk birth management
Collaborate with midwives and anesthesiologists for comprehensive patient care
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and credentialing requirements
Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management
Handling emergent obstetric and gynecological cases
Handling emergent obstetric and gynecological cases
