Were looking for IMIT Project Manager and a Business Analyst to ensure the successful implementation of Microsoft 365 across public sector client. Supported by IMITs Project Management Office the Experienced Project Manager IMIT (PM) will lead and direct the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the Unity project throughout the project lifecycle. They will be responsible for the delivery of the expected project benefits and results on scope on time and on budget. The project manager will lead the development and execution of the project plan and will provide periodic project status reports including interproject dependencies and communications. The project manager will anticipate and identify project changes risks and issues and recommends options while working effectively with the project team and senior management to implement solutions.
PM will be expected to engage with various stakeholders both internal and external including executives managers technology teams public sector SMEs and change champions First Nations Communities and vendors in a complex environment.
PM will possess a combination of the following skill sets:
- Experienced in working in a culturally diverse enterprise environment and navigating political climate with ease.
- Willingness to learn about the public sector values and incorporate those values into the assigned tasks.
- Must adhere to the public sector communication in the Workplace policies and values.

Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage project stakeholders as well as take direction from Leadership PMO Manager BA Manager and Project Sponsors as required.
- Works effectively under time pressure to meet deadlines balance work priorities and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to conduct analyses and plan organize manage monitor complete and evaluate project activities in accordance with the project plan and within allocated time and resources.
- Ability to effectively facilitate groups to achieve appropriate outcomes.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations communication engagement and workshops;
excellent business writing and communications skills.
- Ability to build relationships consult with customers and potential customers both internal and external.
- Ability to follow prescribed methodology take direction and to integrate ideas into the assigned work.
Qualification:
- A Bachelors degree in a related discipline (Computer Science/Business/Health Informatics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificate Project Management Institutes (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) is required (or PRINCE II equivalent)
- Certification or training in Agile or SCRUM considered an asset
- ITIL Foundation Version 4.0 (or 3.0); certification considered an asset.
- 8 years of recent direct Project Management experience in managing IT business applications and infrastructure projects.
- Experience delivering project involving Microsoft technologies such as M365 Microsoft Dynamics MS Power Apps etc.
- Experience delivering projects involving Primary Care and eHealth technologies such as EMR PACS etc. considered an asset
- Proven experience in managing agile projects hybrid projects and waterfall projects through full project lifecycle.
- Proven supervisory and management experience.
- Proven experience with commercial offtheshelf (COTS) systems custom development business architecture and operations.
- Proven experience in risk management and change management.
- Proven experience in creating project documents such as project charter and project management plan including preparation of briefing documents for the senior leadership.
- Proven experience in RFP vendor selection contract management and vendor management
- Previous experience in managing business driven or business transformation projects
- Experience in health sector with primary care or processes change on Canadian Healthcare projects considered an asset.
- Experience working with PPM tools such as MS Project OnePlan Azure DevOps etc.
Asset:
- Certification or training in Agile or SCRUM considered an asset
- Ability to understand and analyze a high volume of information in a short period of time and translate into requirements user stories/use cases solution components and deployment plans
- Experience with one or more the following technologies considered an asset:
- OnePlan Microsoft DevOps Power BI
- Microsoft 365 deployments / Azure Cloud migrations
