  • Parttime 4 PM to 8 PM Monday to Friday

Job Description

As a Bookkeeper for this innovative financial portfolio you ll be instrumental in managing a diverse range of financial activities. Your expertise in QuickBooks Online will be put to the test as you handle multiple income streams including rental properties personal finances and a burgeoning trading platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with complex financial structures including trust accounts and a soontobeestablished selfmanaged super fund. You ll be responsible for ensuring accurate uptodate financial records across various business entities making you an integral part of the client s financial success. This position is perfect for a detailoriented professional who thrives on variety and is excited about contributing to a growing investment portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Master the intricacies of QuickBooks Online to manage multiple income streams efficiently
  • Reconcile bank statements and meticulously categorize transactions for various business entities
  • Oversee bookkeeping for five rental properties ensuring accurate tracking of income and expenses
  • Play a key role in setting up and maintaining a selfmanaged super fund adhering to Australian regulations
  • Manage three trust accounts ensuring compliance and accurate reporting
  • Update and maintain financial records for current and previous fiscal years including clearing a backlog from
  • Prepare comprehensive financial data for tax return purposes collaborating with external accountants when necessary
  • Assist in financial planning and analysis for the newly launched trading platform
  • Ensure strict compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Provide regular insightful updates on financial status and progress to the client




Requirements

  • Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online with the ability to navigate complex financial structures
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in trust accounting and familiarity with selfmanaged super funds
  • Proficiency in managing investment property accounting and multiple income streams
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of maintaining high accuracy in financial records
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
  • Adaptability to work within Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving and process improvement
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
