Job Description

  • Challenge yourself in a critical role responsible for authoring policies and gaining regulatory approvals
  • Together well achieve ultra longhaul travel with the introduction of A350s in 2026
  • 2year fixed term contract preferably based in Sydney or Brisbane but open to other locations

Join us in the critical role of Senior Advisor Cabin Policy where you will be responsible for the development and authoring of policies and procedures for our aircraft and gaining regulatory approvals to inform the training requirements for Cabin Crew. You will update manuals for all our fleet and lead regulatory demonstrations such as proving evacuation procedures. As a key role in safety and operational processes you will also support major projects such as the introduction of new aircraft types to our fleet including the A350 for ultra longhaul travel. Additionally you will be accountable for maintaining expertise in safety legislation fostering collaborative relationships with business partners and stakeholders and ensuring adherence to risk frameworks.

Youll have:

  • Relevant experience in developing policies and working with regulators within an operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of Cabin Crew operations policies training and procedures
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to model influence and encourage positive behaviours
  • Ability to tailor and present complex information in a simple way to a varied audience
  • Confident managing projects and influencing change in the workplace
  • Demonstrated ability to draw meaningful conclusions from interpreting and analysing information 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and network between departments
