Position Summary
Support payroll process in a multistate environment. Work closely with the payroll team to maintain and update a variety of payroll data to ensure that employees are paid correctly and appropriate deductions are applied with assistance from a Senior.
General Job Responsibilities
Prepare and submit paper payroll checks for employees who do not have direct deposit
Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits on paydays
Keep up to date with the taxation of salaries benefits and other factors
Maintain and document all payroll records
Perform time entries and basic master data entries.
Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
Research about solutions generate and communicate process improvement ideas
Follow and implement best practices and processes defined by the company to work with high standards of quality
Participate in status meetings
Attend internal trainings
Perform other functions related to the position
Qualifications :
English level B2
Graduated from a Technical High School in accounting or executive in service center or university student in business administration industrial engineering or a related field.
Understanding of payroll processes and monitoring / detective controls. Desirable.
Knowledge of MS Office Products (Word Excel PowerPoint).
