Job Description
The MDM Data Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate replication of PT1 data into P13 PPT and PS0 systems. This role involves documenting and improving legacy processes within the MDM digital infrastructure consulting with business units to translate their needs into actionable requirements and acting as the primary point of contact for local requests and workflow enhancements.
Data Replication Oversight :Ensure accurate and timely replication of PT1 data into P13 PPT and PS0. Monitor data integrity and quality throughout the replication process.
Process Documentation & Improvement: Document existing legacy processes related to MDM systems and data flows. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency. Implement best practices for data management and governance.
Consultation & Coaching: Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) to understand their objectives and translate them into clear actionable data requirements. Provide guidance and coaching to BU teams on MDM processes and data quality standards.
Point of Contact for Local Requests: Serve as the primary contact for business units regarding data quality issues and workflow improvements. Manage and prioritize local requests ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with IT data governance and other relevant teams to ensure alignment on data quality initiatives. Participate in crossfunctional projects aimed at enhancing data management practices.
Qualifications :
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends patterns or discrepancies. Proficient in data quality assessment techniques and methodologies.
- Process Improvement: Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma Lean). Proven track record of implementing process improvements within data management contexts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across various levels of the organization.
