About the Role We are hiring a Fire Protection Sales & Design Specialist for our direct client. This role is primarily remote with the exception of job site surveys client meetings and occasional travel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preliminary system layout design sales and business development ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities - Download organize and manage project documents folders and files.
- Assist in preliminary fire protection system layout and design for project estimation.
- Communicate with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) and other governing agencies for compliance.
- Research and submit RFIs (Requests for Information) during the bidding phase.
- Ensure technical proficiency in applicable design standards and fire protection codes.
- Conduct code research to ensure projects comply with relevant regulations.
- Complete and maintain contractor and owner prequalification forms as needed.
- Develop and maintain longterm client relationships ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Entertain and engage with clients through breakfast meetings lunch & learns sales presentations dinners and industry networking events.
- Travel domestically on an occasional to moderate basis as required for site visits and client meetings.
- Identify and analyze customer preferences to effectively direct sales efforts.
- Provide regular performance reports and feedback to management.
- Serve as a company representative building relationships with potential customers and clients.
Key Qualifications - Experience in fire protection system design sales or business development.
- Strong understanding of fire protection industry standards codes and AHJ regulations.
- Ability to perform system layout and design for project estimating.
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Excel Word and document management.
- Excellent communication and client relationshipbuilding skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while coordinating with project teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits client meetings and networking events.
