Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer/Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data engineering principles data science methodologies and advanced analytics. This role requires expertise in big data technologies data modeling machine learning and cloud computing solutions along with a proven track record of delivering impactful datadriven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Engineering:
- Design build and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern ETL frameworks.
- Implement data models and architectures to support data processing and analytics.
- Optimize data storage solutions in cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality integrity and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Data Science & Analytics:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems and enhance decisionmaking.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends patterns and insights from large datasets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Lead crossfunctional teams in the design and implementation of datadriven solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior data engineers and data scientists fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Drive data strategy initiatives and contribute to the establishment of best practices in data engineering and data science.
- Research & Development:
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in data science machine learning and big data technologies.
- Experiment with new tools and methodologies to continuously improve data processes and analytics capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in data engineering data science or a related field.
- Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python R or Java.
- Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark) and data processing frameworks.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow Scikitlearn).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure AWS Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions (e.g. Snowflake Redshift).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications in data engineering data science or cloud technologies (e.g. Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with data governance data privacy laws and compliance standards.
