Job Description
Job Title: FullStack Java Developer
Location: Hybrid (23 Days Onsite per week) in Princeton NJ 08543
Duration: FullTime (FTE)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking Full Stack Application Developer with deep expertise in Java web and database technologies. As a full stack Java Application developer of the Business Systems Development team you will participate in designing developing and implementing exchange systems that directly support trading help desk surveillance clearing business intelligence finance and other complex middle and back office operational systems.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential and candidates should be selfdirected and motivated to work in a fast paced teamoriented environment.
Summary of Key responsibilities include:
- Analysis and assessment of business and system requirements in direct collaboration with business users covering a variety of functional disciplines
- Handson application development (this is a coding position candidates should have a strong desire to be inthecode) of highquality performant and feature rich web applications that provide firstclass operational capabilities to the MIAX Exchange Group
- Define the backend REST APIs for the features of the services being built.
- Write unit integration and endtoend tests and work with the team for defining test cases.
- Organizational Structure
The Application Developer will report directly to the Sr. VP of Business Systems Development.
Qualifications:
- Expert in core Java and JEE technologies
- Deep understanding of web application architecture and design principles
- Must have indepth knowledge of one or more application frameworks such as Spring Boot Spring MVC and Spring Web Flux
- Strong experience with web development tools and languages such as Angular HTML5 CSS and Javascript
- Strong database design and SQL expertise
- Experience with Linux and shell scripting
- Experience with CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Container technologies (Docker & Kubernetes) a plus.
- Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS Azure Google Cloud a plus.
- Well versed in industry standard architecture design methodologies and processes
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Selfdirected and motivated to work in a fast paced teamoriented environment
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5 or more years of experience using Java technologies to build largescale business applications.
- Financial industry experience is a plus.
