Job Description
Epworth Eastern has opportunities to join our wonderful and supportive team on a casual parttime or fulltime basis as a Theatre Technician.
Join our dynamic team that is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safety first. You will be responsible for delivering highquality service patient care handling equipment and transportation services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.
You will make an impact by:
- Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
- Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
- Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
To be successful in this role:
We are looking for someone who is a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. You should be professional in your work have a strong attention to detail and be quick to learn and adapt.
- Must have completed a Certificate III Theatre Technician qualification
- Minimum 12 months clinical experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatre
- You must have a clear understanding and use of medical terminology
- Understanding of and ability to setup medical devices / theatres
- Flexible working arrangements to best match your work/life balance committed to a rotating roster (mix of AM PM twilight and Saturday shifts)

Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac vascular orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology urology and endoscopy services. Our redeveloped site delivers positive meaningful and sustainable impact on the health and well being of our community delivering much needed health care services and facilities in Melbournes east.

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians AUD $57744 $70910 super entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for parttime).
