Job Description
In collaboration we are working with a leading B2B solution provider looking to recruit an AV Specialist for their offices in Bogot Colombia.
Position: AV Specialist
Location: Bogot Colombia
Employment Type: Fulltime
Remuneration: Base salary
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and test new equipment and facilities
- Demonstrate advanced crimping expertise with connectors like BNC Micro BNC RJ45 and XLR
- Configure and maintain AV broadcasting and IT networking hardware ensuring seamless device communication
- Set up and manage scalers matrix systems and virtual studio productions
- Establish and monitor audiovisual links between different units
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize service downtime
- Operate equipment and transmission links for outside broadcasts
- Design and install custom audiovisual circuits and hardware systems
- Follow workplace health and safety best practices
- Interpret and execute instructions from product owners creative directors and colleagues
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stay updated on industry trends and advancements
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in English (B2 or higher)
- Strong understanding of photography concepts (aperture shutter speed ISO exposure camera lenses)
- Technical expertise in camera operation and video production
- Handson experience in electronic engineering and communication devices
- Proficient in operating video cameras and production video switchers
- Experience with live chroma keying (green screen)
- Strong knowledge of SDI (Serial Digital Interface) systems
- Excellent IT skills and experience in project management
- Strong problemsolving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
