This role is responsible for leveraging strong technical knowledge to ensure the stable operation of the organizations business by maintaining the different technologies and systems that form the IS Infrastructure.
Additionally the role is responsible for providing applications support and process automation (scripting) responding quickly to service interruptions and service requests to maintain operations efficiency.
English skills (written/verbal) are mandatory.
Leadership skills/vocation is a good qualification required.
Schedule: MondayFriday 8AM5:30PM
Key components of this role are:
- To execute Regular IS Basic Tasks (KTLO);
- To provide branch / user support and troubleshooting;
- Server room maintenance and administration (including backups);
- Create a community that promotes the sharing of best ideas and practices and be a catalyst in promoting global consistency;
- Automation & Innovation (including PowerShell);
- Procurement Asset management and Inventory;
- Audio/visual equipment maintenance and troubleshooting;
- Telecom administration and maintenance;
- Administration of Expeditors Proprietary Applications;
- Administration of 3rd Party Systems;
- Capacity utilization and planning;
- Helpdesk administration;
- Training;
- Disaster recovery & high availability;
- Cybersecurity;
- Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN) Including warehouse RF setup and configuration;
- Office 365;
- Windows PC troubleshooting maintenance and deployment;
- Printers/copiers;
- Windows Server Administration (including AD and Group policies);
- Linux Server Administration (fundamentals);
- Virtualization;
- Remote administration;
- Mobile devices (iOS/Android).
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree;
- IT Certifications considered a plus: CompTIA Cisco Microsoft VMware Linux ;
- Preferred IT helpdesk background
