Salary: £28000 £32000 per annum
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Prepare and cook meals as per the menu and special requests while adhering to food safety standards.
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff fostering a culture of teamwork and skill development.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus and develop new recipes.
- Manage inventory levels including ordering and stock rotation.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with catering for events and private functions as required by the restaurant.
- Handle any customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Participate in the scheduling of kitchen staff and workflow management.
Desired Experience:
Candidates should have solid experience in a professional kitchen environment showcasing knowledge of hospitality operations and a passion for culinary arts.
