Job Description
Solas Capital AG is an investment advisor founded by a leading team of sustainable finance investment professionals with experience in the fields of energy efficiency renewable energy and infrastructure finance. Solas Capitals goal is to support societys transition to carbon neutrality by developing and managing sustainable finance products that have a double bottomline investment objective. Located in Zurich and Munich the company has a European outreach. To support the companys growth and the launch of new Sustainable Energy investment products focusing on the energy efficiency sector we are looking for a Marketing Intern.
This is a 6month internship starting asap in January/February 2025.
This is a temporary role based in Zurich (Munich is also possible).
Tasks
- Create and manage marketing materials including investor presentations and thought leadership content
- Conduct investor research
- Coordinate investor outreach
- Support the team in organising and following up on investor outreach activities
- Support in LinkedIn content creation and management
Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Third level degree or currently pursuing a Masters degree in Marketing Communications Business Administration or in a Sustainability or Financerelated field
- Fluent English (written and spoken) German is a plus
- Excellent writing and content creation abilities
- Interest in energy markets and climate technologies
- Good understanding of the Finance industry (preferably the Fund industry)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially PowerPoint
- Problemsolving selfstarter mindset and ability to work independently
- Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for sustainability and climate impact finance
- Swiss (for Zurich) or German (for Munich) work permit or EU citizenship
Candidates may also have:
- Previous experience in an investment company or in the solar energy efficiency or infrastructure industry
- Experience with CRM systems
- Previous internship experience in marketing preferably in financial services
- Additional European languages
