Job Description
Title: Civil Engineer Land Development
Location: Chantilly VA
Job Type: Fulltime (Onsite)
Civil Engineer Land Development (25 Years Experience) Annandale or Chantilly VA
Client is seeking talented Civil Engineers with 25 years of direct experience in land development projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site planning infrastructure design and construction management for residential commercial and mixeduse developments.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- 25 years of experience in land development projects
- EIT certification (preferred)
- Storm Water Management Planning & Design (Detailed Pond and Best Management Practice facility design preferred)
- Roadway Design both horizontal and vertical.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering concepts and local regulations
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare land development applications
- Create site layouts utility designs and roadway plans
- Develop erosion and sediment control plans
- Generate stormwater management and Best Management Practice designs for multiple facility types including but not limited to ponds bioretentions infiltration practices etc.
- Perform site distance analysis and pavement design computations
- Ensure quality and compliance of all work
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
