Job Description
Credit Controller
Job Profile:
As the Credit Controller working with all stakeholders you will oversee the recovery of the unpaid monies to the organization ensuring that the payment is received promptly and efficiently.
The functions are as summarized below:
Formulation of the company s credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risks
Review credit applications and credit references to set credit limits and ensure credit worthiness
Review and report on Aged Debtors
Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the Account Receivables Team
Regularly meet and negotiate terms with third party debt collection agencies
Preparation of statement of claims for liquidators
Regularly reviewing the process and procedures to reduce debtors days
Ensure payment are chased for overdue accounts
Liaising with customers as well as internal personnel including the Business Development Team
Support monthend and yearend close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
