Job Description

Our client is a CBN licensed and NDIC insured Microfinance bank providing Savings Investment and Loan products to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. Due to expansion they are in need of a Junior Credit & Risk Analyst

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze financial statements and ratios to assess borrowers financial health
  • Evaluate lending risks and identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Collaborate with clients and loan officers on credit decisions
  • Prepare loan applications and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Recommend credit limits for new customers
  • Verify authenticity of provided documents
  • Ensure loan proposals comply with bank credit policy
  • Recommend adjustments to credit policies based on market trends

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree or HND holder
  • 24 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution
  • MCP is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Core Banking software applications
  • Ability to navigate compliance issues
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Knowledge of Credit and portfolio management
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Risk assessment expertise
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
