Positioned as a top contender in the electrical contracting realm within Houston TX we are on the lookout for a Project Manager. This role is crucial for someone capable of steering construction projects from conception to completion embodying a visionary spirit to revolutionize the industry with exceptional project management.
Your Role: Paving the Way to Success!
Your mission involves taking the helm of projects from the Estimating and Sales phase through to their full realization.
This includes:
- Thoroughly reviewing and understanding all bidding documents and requests for proposals.
- Crafting Project Schedules in collaboration with clients.
- Establishing and monitoring the project budget.
- Creating and overseeing the Schedule of Values.
- Procuring general materials for the project.
- Assembling Submittal and Operation & Maintenance packages with support from the Project Coordinator.
- Generating Purchase Orders and Subcontracts with Project Coordinator input.
- Collaborating closely with the Superintendent on manpower planning.
- Formulating and pricing change orders.
- Fostering outstanding relationships with our field team and clients.
- Managing costs through detailed analysis of job cost reports via our accounting system.
- Keeping subcontractor and historical job cost databases up to date.
- Ensuring subcontractor needs are met with timely provision of information.
- Participating in Project Meetings and being available for job walks and reviews alongside your Foreman.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 1 years of proven experience in electrical project management.
- Exceptional leadership qualities communication skills and organizational capabilities.
- A consistent record of completing projects on schedule within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting plans drawings and job specifications.
- Experience with estimating software such as Conest and/or Accubid along with proficiency in accounting and project management software.
