As an experienced Engineer you will become a leader with the opportunity to grow and mentor a highperforming team of talented and skilled engineering professionals. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and plan in accordance with applicable design specifications. Projects may include various bridge types such as steel plate girder prestressed concrete girder and reinforced concrete slab structures.
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure the strength and safety of highway structures
- Prepare structural designs and contract documents including drawings specifications and estimates
- Participate in preparing project budgets and schedules
- Perform calculations for designing bridges and transportation structures using AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software
Qualifications :
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural major or emphasis
- Must reside in the state of Colorado or be willing to relocate to Colorado.
- 4 years of experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with coworkers and clients both in verbal and written form
- Knowledge of Prestressed Concrete is preferred
- Expertise for layout and design of bridges and highway structures is preferred
