Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead our aligner manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing largescale production lines with a workforce of 200300 people. They should also be skilled in process automation driving efficiency and ensuring production quality to meet our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a workforce of 200300 people optimizing manpower machinery materials and scheduling to meet production targets efficiently.
Implement automation and process improvements to boost productivity reduce waste and streamline operations using datadriven insights.
Ensure consistent product quality by collaborating with quality assurance teams and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Lead workforce training and development focusing on safety skill enhancement and productivity optimization.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production yield equipment downtime labor efficiency and cost control.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms ensure consistent supply and manage inventory to balance stock levels and reduce lead times.
Oversee timely and costefficient dispatch of aligners and products coordinating with logistics partners to optimize delivery and minimize costs.
Ensure safety compliance on the production floor and manage the production budget to align with business goals.
Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and continuous operational 48 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing a large production line (200300 people). Experience in aligner or medical device manufacturing is preferred.
Process Automation: Proven experience in driving process automation and implementing efficiencyenhancing solutions in manufacturing.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field. MBA or a Master's in Operations Management is a plus.
Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience handling large workforces.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
Indepth understanding of manufacturing processes automation systems and quality control.
Excellent problemsolving abilities and datadriven decisionmaking skills.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and experience ensuring compliance on the production floor.
