JOB DESCRIPTION:

Commvault is looking for a Regulatory Manager with a strong focus on privacy to join our growing Global Compliance team and help drive our global privacy compliance initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development implementation and ongoing review of global privacy frameworks policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GDPR CCPA and other global privacy laws.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in global privacy regulations providing strategic guidance on their business impact.
  • Oversee and conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to operationalize privacybydesign principles in new products services and processes.
  • Manage data subject rights request workflows including triaging tracking and responding to requests in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Act as the point of contact for regulatory inquiries audits and breach notifications ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Conduct internal privacy audits and support crossfunctional teams in addressing audit findings.
  • Develop and deliver privacy training programs to enhance organizational awareness and embed a privacyfirst culture.
  • Partner with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure thirdparty privacy compliance through assessments and contractual requirements.

Who you are:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience working in privacy compliance legal or regulatory roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global privacy laws including GDPR CCPA and emerging privacy regulations.
  • Experience conducting privacy risk assessments and managing remediation activities.
  • Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable policies and practices.

Skills and experience that could set you apart:

  • Certifications such as CIPP/E CIPP/US or CIPM are highly desirable.
