Commvault is looking for a Regulatory Manager with a strong focus on privacy to join our growing Global Compliance team and help drive our global privacy compliance initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Commvault is looking for a Regulatory Manager with a strong focus on privacy to join our growing Global Compliance team and help drive our global privacy compliance initiatives.
What you will do:
- Lead the development implementation and ongoing review of global privacy frameworks policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GDPR CCPA and other global privacy laws.
- Monitor and interpret changes in global privacy regulations providing strategic guidance on their business impact.
- Oversee and conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
- Collaborate with internal teams to operationalize privacybydesign principles in new products services and processes.
- Manage data subject rights request workflows including triaging tracking and responding to requests in compliance with legal requirements.
- Act as the point of contact for regulatory inquiries audits and breach notifications ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Conduct internal privacy audits and support crossfunctional teams in addressing audit findings.
- Develop and deliver privacy training programs to enhance organizational awareness and embed a privacyfirst culture.
- Partner with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure thirdparty privacy compliance through assessments and contractual requirements.
- At least 5 years of professional experience working in privacy compliance legal or regulatory roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of global privacy laws including GDPR CCPA and emerging privacy regulations.
- Experience conducting privacy risk assessments and managing remediation activities.
- Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable policies and practices.
- Certifications such as CIPP/E CIPP/US or CIPM are highly desirable.
