Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
-
Maintenance Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for machinery tools and infrastructure.
- Plan and manage maintenance budgets ensuring costeffectiveness.

Team Management:
- Lead mentor and train the maintenance team to ensure high performance.
- Assign tasks and monitor team progress to meet operational goals.

Equipment Maintenance:
- Oversee routine maintenance and repair of woodworking machinery finishing equipment and other production tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and equipment specifications.

Operational Efficiency:
- Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues promptly.

Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Inventory & Spare Parts Management:
- Maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Establish relationships with vendors for timely procurement of quality parts.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities costs and equipment performance.
- Prepare regular reports for management highlighting key maintenance metrics.

Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance management preferably in the furniture or woodworking industry.

Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery mechanical systems and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs CNC machines and finishing equipment is a plus.

Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

ProblemSolving Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement practical solutions.

Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Certifications:
- Certifications in Maintenance Management or relevant technical fields are advantageous.

Other Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
