Job Description
Schedule; MF 8am to 5pm rotate as needed
In this role you will:
- Oversee the production and sanitation department focusing on pizza dough production
- Develop and manage production goals metrics and schedules
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards GMPs and safety procedures
- Coordinate with other departments and vendors to achieve common objectives
- Manage and train team members in dough production proofing and quality checks
- Handle supply ordering and inventory management for production materials
- Troubleshoot dough issues implement efficiency improvements and conduct periodic store visits to check product quality
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment while supporting a 24hour operation
Qualifications :
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Distribution Manufacturing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum 35 years of experience in production manufacturing or retail with strong emphasis on bakery procedures and food safety programs
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and leading teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Exceptional organizational skills and decisive decisionmaking abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to commit to a fulltime flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- Proven track record in quality assurance and safety management
- Willingness to support 24hour operations and be oncall including carrying an emergency communication device as required
- Must successfully complete and pass a background check every third year on the employment anniversary date
- Ability to travel by air as necessitated by business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency
- Working knowledge of AIB or HACCP practices or relevant certifications
- Experience in food warehouse manufacturing or retail industries
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 1012 hours
- Ability to navigate extensive warehouse facilities often exceeding a quarter mile in length
- Proficiency in accessing all areas of the building including safe ascent and descent of ladders stairs and gangways without limitation
- Regular engagement in bending lifting stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Capacity to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds
- Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions (3338 degrees Fahrenheit) and environments with exposure to loud machinery
