We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Network Engineer on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 368.51 478.00 per Day
Responsibilities:
- Management of the network infrastructure and resources required to plan for develop deliver and support Digital services and products to contribute to the achievement of the Councils corporate objectives.
- Preparation for new or changed services management of the change process and the maintenance of regulatory legal and professional standards.
- Responsible for production of network designs and design policies strategies architecture and documentation; covering security capacity and resilience for voice data text email and image to support business requirements and strategy.
- Creation and maintenance of overall network plans encompassing the communication of data voice text and image in the support of the organisations business strategy.
- Ensure delivery of a high quality user experience including fit for purpose systems and high standards of access availability usability usefulness and excellent standards of service.
Requirements:
- Extensive Enterprise Network Experience (5 Years) with highly developed specialist technical knowledge within the data and voice network. Broad knowledge of the IT Technology stacks with experience of network virtualization.
- Ideally educated tobachelordegree level and holds a relevant professional qualification or Skills and Experience.
- Expert Experience Expert Juniper/Cisco; CCNA level Netscalers LAN WAN and routers protocols Firewalls to include Palo Alto ASA firewalls checkpoint firewalls load balancing technology such as F5 Cisco switching and wireless networks Aruba.
