Palo Alto Networks is scaling its business strategy organization and looking for its next senior leader. Your work as a Strategy Lead will directly and visibly contribute to our overall strategy and success. You will work as part of a case team and work directly with the senior leaders in the organization to solve complex strategy problems that are on topofmind for our executives.
This role is to be a lead on the Network Security (Netsec) Strategy team. The Network Security platform represents the largest lineofbusiness for Palo Alto Networks and consists of Firewall CloudDelivered Security Services and SASE business units. The Netsec strategy team plays a central role in supporting the scaling of a wide range of product portfolio.
As a Lead in the Netsec Strategy team you will be driving CEO priorities and making an impact in one of the most dynamic areas of our business. You will be tackling topics across Product and GotoMarket. Youll be interacting with and advising senior stakeholders who value our counsel. And most importantly youll be driving measurable results as we rapidly scale this business.
Your Impact
- Structure and break down complex business problems develop a hypothesis drive analysis and deliver recommendations
- Work collaboratively across a crossfunctional set of stakeholders to gather the right information pressure test your hypothesis cocreate deliverables accelerate execution and unlock value
- Develop and present highquality recommendation and deliverables (PPT Word etc.) for executive level consumption
- Support strategy / business planning processes and assist with developing strategic capabilities across the organization
- Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development project management and execution) to do it what it takes to move the needle
- Provide coaching and mentoring to leads and associates on the team and take personal interest in their growth in the organization
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- 3 years relevant work experience post MBA with at least 2 years in management consulting (McKinsey Bain BCG Deloitte etc.) private equity or toptier tech strategy or bizops functions (Google Facebook Amazon etc.)
- MBA graduate from a toptier B school or similar academic credentials or direct promote in Consulting or equivalent military experience required
- Effective verbal and written communication ability and comfort with both business and technical discussions with senior audiences
- Experience in building relationships and leading through influence
- Experience managing projects and largescale transformations
- Great teammate willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work crossfunctionally to get things done
- Selfstarter who thrives in fastpaced highgrowth environments with minimal supervision
- Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry is a must knowledge of cybersecurity industry is a plus but not required

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for nonsales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $166000 $269500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
