Job Description
As a member of the developers group providing strategic solutions and consulting on Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) solutions to support the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) of the semiconductor plant in Penang your daily tasks will include:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Provide expert advice and strategic consulting on CIM solutions to optimize manufacturing processes
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of current systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic solutions
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of CIM solutions including design specifications user manuals and best practices
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members and stakeholders to share knowledge and ensure effective use of CIM solutions
- Analyze manufacturing workflows and processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Design and implement CIM solutions that enhance the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing operations
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions to ensure they meet the desired objectives
- Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation in manufacturing processes
- Propose and implement improvements to existing CIM solutions to enhance their functionality and performance
- Work closely with other developers engineers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of CIM solutions with MES and other systems
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing CIM solutions addressing any issues or bugs that arise
- Respond promptly to user inquiries and provide technical assistance as needed
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Good communication skills (Verbal and Written) especially in meetings and reviews with all levels and departments
- Able to work in an intercultural team
- Strong interest in modern technologies agile mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Reliability and flexibility to work in a pioneer team
- Technical expertise in a modern MES system landscape
- (R2R/SPC/FDC/RMS/RTD/DWH etc.) and advanced knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing are desirable
- Conception of the change management process / system (workflow change recognizability)
- Knowledge of programming language like C Java
- Oracle DB & noSQL DB
- Software Configuration Management Build systems and version control
- Structured and independent way of working analytical skills
- Willingness to take over responsibility
- Experience with project management tools and processes (e.g. Confluence Jira)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) German skills are a plus
