Job Description
As a Software Developer in the Digital Manufacture department you will develop and deliver together with an internationally distributed team software applications and solutions within the Mobility Electronics (ME) sector. Become part of our team and contribute to the future of ME!
In your role you will:
- Develop software for various plants an enabler for innovation in the semiconductor industry. We work on techniques which increase the quality of fabrication
- Design develop test document deploy and maintain efficient reusable and reliable software while ensuring performance and quality standards
- Analyze debug and solve defects of existing functionalities
- Participate actively in code reviews
- Work in an agile environment within internationally distributed teams
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members as well as contribute to technical onboarding of new joiners
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Good communication skills (Verbal and Written) especially in meetings and reviews with all levels and departments
- Able to work in an intercultural team
- Strong interest in modern technologies agile mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Reliability and flexibility to work in a pioneer team
- Knowledge of programming language like C C Java Go
- Microservice architecture
- Infrastructure automatization system configuration and Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins) as well as experience in Orchestration (e.g. Docker ecosystem)
- Software Configuration Management Build systems and version control (e.g. Git Subversion Maven Sonatype Nexus SonarQube)
- REST Services
- Testing frameworks
- Oracle DB & noSQL DB
- Structured and independent way of working analytical skills
- Willingness to take over responsibility
- Experience with project management tools and processes (e.g. Confluence Jira)
- Technical background within semiconductor business
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) German skills are a plus
