Position: Financial Operations Associate

As a Financial Operations Associate you will join the Operations team and provide essential middleoffice and posttrade support. You will be directly involved in critical activities including trade reconciliations operational risk control and collaborating with technology teams to develop and enhance automated processes. Your work will support the organizations goal of achieving 100% straightthrough processing and managing operational risk effectively.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform trade reconciliations and address discrepancies.
- Define and implement operational risk controls.
- Reconcile internal positions across multiple counterparties and asset classes.
- Manage exceptions related to administrative positions transactions and cash reconciliations.
- Oversee T0 matching and settlements across various asset classes and markets.
- Handle both mandatory and voluntary corporate action events as well as posttrade event lifecycles.
- Analyze the current operational platform to enhance straightthrough processing and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with technology teams to automate processes and drive innovation.
- Track resolve and remediate operational incidents.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Over 5 years of experience in operations within an investment management firm fund administration or banking.
- A BA/BS degree in finance economics or a related field.
- Experience handling the entire trade lifecycle and posttrade processing for equities and macro asset classes.
- Strong analytical abilities to detect trends anomalies and insights.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (experience with Tableau and Alteryx is a bonus). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly detailoriented with excellent problemsolving skills.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks while collaborating effectively in a fastpaced environment.
