Job Description

The PMO Manager will lead the Project Management Office that is responsible for creating and maintaining policies and processes to help our Product & Technology teams deliver customer value incrementally and continuously.

The PMO manager is responsible for managing the daytoday activities of PMO office leading and mentoring scrum masters providing guidance on SDLC processes and collaborating with crossfunctional leaders to manage projects and programs. The PMO manager should work with stakeholders on managing expectations and work with team members to identify and mitigate risks to deliver projects on schedule. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills along with ability to work under pressure.

 

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders and crossfunctional leaders to define prioritize and implement projects.

Work closely with scrum masters and team members to implement agile methodologies and best practices.

Guide and mentor PMO team members to help their personal and professional growth.

Coordinate with product management team on prioritizing and grooming requirements for development teams.

Identify and mitigate risks and help eliminate roadblocks throughout the software development lifecycle.

Develop and present project metrics and status reports to stakeholders.

Design and perform effective retrospectives for continuous improvement of processes and teams.

 


Qualifications :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SAFe methodology and Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Excellent leadership skills in managing distributed team members.
  • Proven trackrecord of successfully managing complex projects and crossfunctional teams.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

The salary range for this position is $150000 $204000/year plus commissions or discretionary bonus which will be based on the employees performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical dental vision financial and other benefits.
