You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Museum of Furniture Studies Manager will establish The Museum of Furniture Studies in lmhult and online ensuring its attractiveness and contribution to lmhult as a global design destination.
You will make sure that we develop and secure a unique experience through a constantly developing offer with exhibitions seminars education trainings workshops and more.
You will be responsible of securing running operations of The Museum of Furniture Studies safeguarding a unique and relevant experience for all visitors (online and offline) at all times. In this role you will lead and develop The Museum of Furniture Studies team and create preconditions for your coworkers to perform and deliver as well as learn and develop. You lead by example and act according to our company values.
The museum is located in lmhult Smland Sweden but you will work in an international arena.
Qualifications :
We are looking for a leader with an indepth knowledge in furniture design. You are used to and enjoy working on both the strategical tactical and operational agenda sometimes pending between all three levels during a workday. You are strong in collaboration and in building trustful relationships both within your own organization and with other stakeholders and media.
You are eager to take initiatives and driven to achieve results together with people. You have the ability to work and lead in change and you inspire and motivate your organization during the change journey. You feel at ease when needed to act with speed and take fast decisions. You communicate in a clear and inspiring way engaging people in where we are heading.
We expect that you have several years of leadership experience of developing business and people linked to creative and/or design processes.
You come with a proven leadership track record from design and/or museum sector/industry.
