Job Description

We are seeking a team player to join our team as a QA Technician!

This is an onsite role in Poestenkill NY!

Responsibilities:

The QA Technician will be responsible for overseeing all quality aspects of our Production Department including:

  • Performing thorough incoming and inprocess inspection of machined parts purchased components and assemblies using precision measurement equipment
  • Managing quality documentation systems and maintaining detailed quality records and equipment calibration logs
  • Conducting quality reporting root cause analysis and developing effective corrective actions
  • Collaborating with the Engineering team to enhance product design and improve manufacturability
  • Participating in and supporting Certifying Bodies (TUV) onsite inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and industry standards

  • Salary range: $60000 to $70000 per hour

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual s unique set of knowledge skills education experience and geographic location as well as internal equity.

Requirements :

  • Associates Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology or related field
  • 35 years of experience in manufacturing quality control
  • Proficiency with coordinate measuring machines and quality inspection equipment
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Working knowledge of machine shop operations and basic electrical systems
  • Experience with quality management systems and related documentation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Visual acuity required for detailed inspection work
