Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Senior Manufacturing Inspector to work onsite with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and precision control components company integrator. This role involves detailed inspection in a manufacturing/machining environment focusing on ensuring quality and supporting production improvement. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex firstpiece and AS9102compliant firstarticle inspections.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for effectiveness and risk assessment.
- Inspect parts using advanced inspection techniques and layouts.
- Support production management to uphold workmanship standards.
- Assist in process improvement and investigative inspection activities.
- Train operators and inspectors on best practices and techniques.
- Solve problems by evaluating nonconformities and proposing solutions.
- Proficiently use both automated and manual measuring equipment.
- Interpret manufacturing drawings and GD&T concepts.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred (or equivalent demonstrated ability).
- Experience: At least 5 years in quality inspection in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with CMM machines and inspection equipment is preferred.
- Strong background in GD&T Blueprints with additional training as a plus.
- Competence in reading writing and following verbal and written work instructions.
- Basic math skills for addition subtraction multiplication and division.
