Electrical Engineer Milan (Italy)
ISS InternationalSpA isseeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to impactful projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
The position involves a fulltime schedule of 40 hours per week starting in February 2025 with an initial contract duration of 12 months and the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering highquality engineering solutions ensuring compliance with technical requirements and supporting all phases of project execution. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives within established timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical system design including singleline diagrams cable routing and grounding.
- Conduct advanced calculations such as power demand load flow short circuit and motor starting.
- Prepare and review technical documentation including specifications data sheets and purchase requisitions.
- Develop protective relay coordination studies and define system control philosophies (e.g. power management synchronization load shedding).
- Provide technical support during procurement testing construction and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards across all activities.
- Monitor and report project progress deliverables and resource allocation.
- Actively participate in internal reviews interdiscipline meetings and risk assessments.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices with a focus on Oil & Gas projects.
- Proficiency in system design and advanced electrical calculations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Familiarity with industry standards QA/QC processes and HSE regulations.
- Ability to manage vendor documentation and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
