Job Description
One of our clients is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the implementation of ACH payment capabilities for within its systems.
This role requires a seasoned IT project manager who thrives in a fastpaced evolving environment with shifting priorities. The selected candidate must be a selfstarter able to remain calm under pressure and professionally engage with stakeholders to drive project success.
The successful candidate will bring strong leadership problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to navigate organizational politics and quickly build relationships to ensure project goals are met.
This position requires onsite work three days per week (Monday Wednesday and either Thursday or Friday) with no exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and clearly articulate project objectives to ensure successful execution.
- Develop comprehensive project plans tracking scope timelines dependencies budgets and resources.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis to engage the right individuals and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all activities align with project strategy and maintain progress and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project tasks decisions and processes for accountability.
- Lead and coordinate preproject impact analysis activities.
- Partner with IT teams to validate technical feasibility quality assurance and maintainability of solutions.
- Identify risks early develop mitigation strategies and track issue resolution.
- Manage scope schedule and budget ensuring project objectives are met.
- Lead multiple highpriority complex IT projects concurrently.
- Utilize project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid) to fit project needs.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams business stakeholders and thirdparty vendors.
- Establish clear communication channels for all stakeholders including executive leadership.
- Organize and lead effective meetings providing valuable feedback and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
- Active PMP Certification (MUST upload a copy upon submission)
- 8 years of experience in IT software project management
- Experience managing projects using varying methodologies (Waterfall Agile Hybrid) 10 years
- Strong issue risk decision and change control capabilities 10 years
- Ability to establish project control processes in the absence of existing standards 10 years
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to tailor messages to different audiences 10 years
- Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills capable of handling difficult stakeholders 10 years
- Time management expertise to balance administrative and strategic project responsibilities 10 years
- Ability to develop project approaches that balance stakeholder needs with project constraints 10 years
- Proven experience managing scope schedule and budget to meet project goals 10 years
Highly Desired Skills
- Experience using Jira for project tracking and management 4 years
- Experience managing both custom inhouse developed software projects and COTS/SaaS implementations
Additional Information
- OnSite Requirement: Three days per week (Monday Wednesday and either Thursday or Friday) NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Parking: Provided for contractors.
- Contract Duration: Expected renewal in July for a full year.
