Job Description
We are seeking a reliable caregiver to assist the elderly with their daily tasks in a unique manner. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong dedication to supporting those in need a sincere concern for the elderly and empathy.
Responsibilities include:
Helping seniors with personal care tasks such as dressing bathing meal preparation medication reminders and light housekeeping.
Addressing the individual needs of each senior with care and consideration.
Ensuring meals and snacks meet dietary guidelines and providing medication as prescribed.
Assisting with transfers and mobility as required.
Monitoring the health of the elderly and reporting any changes to the appropriate individuals.
Encouraging participation in community activities to enhance wellbeing.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the seniors.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
Compassionate and patient attitude towards helping others.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with seniors.
Ability to remain composed and provide care in challenging situations.
Knowledge of care standards and protocols.
First aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
