Location: Oklahoma City OK 73135
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (Monday Thursday) 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Friday & Saturday)
Hours: 56 Hours Per Week

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Shop Trainee to join our dynamic team and support experienced technicians across various production areas including Winding Stacking Assembly Tanking Insulation and Fabrication. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and advance their careers within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist technicians across multiple production workstations gaining handson experience in diverse processes.
Read and accurately interpret manufacturing instructions Bills of Materials (BOM) and production schedules.
Operate hand tools power tools cranes and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Maintain focus follow directions and consistently demonstrate a positive attitude.
Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and workplace regulations.
Lift move and handle materials up to 50 lbs as required.
Maintain a strong attendance record and punctuality.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support production goals.
Qualifications:
Experience: 13 years of manufacturing experience required.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior work experience or training is a plus.
Must pass a preemployment drug screening and physical examination.
Ability to pass a nationwide criminal background check.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions basic correspondence and memos.
Strong mathematical skills including addition subtraction and working with fractions/decimals.
Basic computer proficiency to navigate jobrelated software and systems.
Good problemsolving abilities with the capacity to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team maintaining a positive and focused work ethic.
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing using hands reaching and moving in various positions including stooping kneeling and crawling.
Ability to lift:
o 10 lbs regularly
o 25 lbs frequently
o Up to 50 lbs occasionally
Specific vision abilities required include peripheral vision depth perception and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions fumes and airborne particles.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and elevated workspaces.
Moderate noise levels typical of an industrial environment.
