Job Description

NAVA Software solutions is looking for HR/Benefits/Payroll BSA

Details:

HR/Benefits/Payroll BSA

Location: Houston TX Hybrid

Duration: 6 months CTH

Skills/Requirement:

  • 3 5 years experience supporting HR Benefits Payroll Performance Compensation Learning and Recruiting processes
  • 3 5 years experience supporting Oracle EBS R12
  • 5 7 years experience in systems development and/or IT project management
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design development and implementation of software and hardware solutions systems or products
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and userfriendly language
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment
  • Extensive experience with business requirements gathering and documentation
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles methodologies and software issue resolution techniques
  • Solid working knowledge of current HR Payroll Benefits Performance Compensation Learning and Recruiting technologies
  • Ability to conduct compile and present research in the following areas: software development and delivery concepts application testing strategies project management methodology trends
  • Experience with configuration enhancements upgrades testing and postproduction support to troubleshoot issues with some technical expertise as well as functional experience
  • Initiative in proposing enhancements and solutions
  • Broad knowledge of programming languages and techniques
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
  • Demonstrated ability in developing application specification and requirements documentation
  • Initiative and follow through for enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM and work management practices and tool (e.g. Jira FreshService TestRail)

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with the Energy industry and/or experience working in the pipeline oil and gas industry
  • Experience utilizing Dayforce HCM
  • Experience utilizing Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Experience utilizing Oracle EPM

Job Purpose:

  • Research latest industry practices and technology trends related to HR Payroll Benefits Performance Compensation Learning and Recruiting to assist IT Manager with providing advice to clients and members of the IT organization
  • Assist in conceptualization and development of solutions (hardware software processes) that support business requirements
  • Collaborate with the appropriate parties such as vendors business users or members of IT in order to resolve problems or investigate opportunities as needed
  • Participate in special projects and/or initiatives as needed which could be project management for small to medium initiatives
  • Apply proven communication analytical and problemsolving skills to ensure that project deliverables meet required specifications
  • Create process models specifications diagrams and/or charts based upon user requirements to provide direction to other team members
  • Ensure all required system and compliance documentation is complete and accurate
  • Escalate support and project issues to IT management as they arise
  • Provide data and input for generation of statistics and reports for management and/or team members to represent current status of initiatives
  • Gather and analyze data in support of business cases proposed projects and system requirements
  • Generate and compile reports based on analytical findings complete with probable cause and possible solutions to system issues
  • Elicit analyze specify and validate the business needs of project stakeholders including interviewing stakeholders and compiling user requirements to convey to development teams throughout phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Develop and utilize standard templates to document / review business requirements and technical specifications
  • Work with IT Manager as directed to foster vendor relationship and participate in management of any contractual relationship terms such as support pool hours and scope designation
  • Participate in oncall support rotation as required for functional applications supported
  • Participate in the development or review of application training materials required to provide the user community with a solid understanding of the functionality available to meet the business requirements and conduct training sessions as required
  • Assist in building an application support knowledgebase by documenting issues reported by users and the associated resolution process as requested by senior team members
  • Record track and document the problemsolving process utilized while researching alternatives to resolve issues reported by users
  • Perform postresolution followups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Participate in the development and execution of business continuity processes as requested by senior team members

For assigned projects:

  • Lead the definition development and documentation of business requirements objectives deliverables and specifications on a projectbyproject basis in collaboration with internal users and standards
  • Serve in role of Project Manager and utilize Boardwalk IT project management standards and templates
  • Participate in the design and development of test plans/cases to ensure that the system or application functions as specified
  • Collaborate with business users and other team members to prioritize outstanding issues enhancement requests and projects on routine basis
  • Assist with oversight for project management efforts
