We areseeking a skilled and motivated AWS Administrator to manage and optimize ourAmazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for the design deployment and maintenance of AWS solutionsensuring the security scalability and reliability of our cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish configuration compliance and audit program toeffectively manage AWS accounts and resources Review cloud resources and costdrivers compute storage network managed services database and servicelicenses marketplace and accounts.
As part of our Managed Services offering for clients;monitor rightsizing elasticity storage optimization and identify unusedresources.
Maintain cloudbased servers patching vulnerabilitiesbackup/restore operations provision new servers configure firewallsconfigure monitoring systems.
Deploy manage and optimize Amazon EKS clusters forcontainerized applications ensuring high availability and efficient resourceusage.
Implement Kubernetes best practices such as autoscalinghigh availability and fault tolerance while managing deployments servicessecrets ConfigMaps and other resources within EKS.
Manage account containerization and tagging for internalcost centers and end client billing feeds. Monitor cost allocations securitycompliance budgets and set alerts across accounts workloads and users.
Use AWS Config to monitor and track resource configuration.Set standards for resource configurations evaluate configuration complianceand risk and remediate configuration drift.
Use AWS CloudTrail for compliance audits by recording andstoring event logs for actions made within AWS accounts.
Set controls to monitor to assure compliance. Experiencewith monitoring tools middleware software and ITSM tools a plus.Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field from anaccredited college or university. Eight (10) years of Cloud AdministrationExperience.
Excellent technical knowledge of IT Infrastructureincluding switches routers server operating systems and hardware storagearrays and security applications.
Strong system administration experience in Windows andLinux environments. Experience with automation using an established framework(SaltStack Puppet Chef Ansible etc.).
Strong technical knowledge of current protocols operatingsystems and standards. Able to read and understand technical manuals andprocedural documentation.
Experience in public cloud environments including AWSand/or Azure. Experience working in an ITILdriven environment and workingknowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
